Florence Street Corner

Art mockup of two of my paintings featuring a Florence Street Corner and the terracotta Rooftops of Florence

Prints Available from £19.95

I went to Florence with two of my sisters in 2002 and took a photograph of a street corner. Not your average street corner of course. It’s not everyday you come across a magestic statue like this. I think it’s the blend of the medieval with modern that is part of Florence’s charm. Plus the ice cream and pizzas! Everything. We visited the Uffizi gallery and it was here that I was introduced to my first artwork by Caravaggio, discovered some incredible sculptures and a wealth of culture.

More recently I turned it into this little line and wash. Florence, unforgettable. My artwork reached the final judging stages for the 2022 SAA Artist of the Year Competition.
